printers print off a lot darker than what’s actually on the computer screen and it annoyed makers of into photography. So I wanted to know why

seen that like through displayed on the screen right but then sometimes the code. It could be like a light blue on the screen in that same code could mean a dark on the printer. Right. So you want to try and change it so that all the same. Yeah. And usually this software

Something that attaches to the screen that reads got coffee so so tell me more about that, like, now that so so you identify the problem from your reading is is identified that the devices handle colors, different and have different color profiles, how, how does it say that you can resolve that what what methods are available for you to approach that problem. is I think I don’t I haven’t done a lot on printers, but in cameras are quite good if you if it looks good on the camera and you want to make it look good on the screen. I want to change the camera.

So the first thing is obviously like one of the things that I know isn’t isn’t challenging aspect of digital photography and that’s the issue of the white point and and what color white is in any given photograph is going to be different depending on the lighting and then on the screen, they tend to have a very set white point which would have to be a depth. And wouldn’t it for each photograph depending on the circumstances of it. So what how do you handle that. Well, a few shoot in ROI or jP jP you can you can’t access the

color profiles and someone locked. If you only challenge it just kind of add a layer on top of the further

so open. It’s not going to change the

problem right so it’s not like a filter, you’re actually falls in the photo right and then and the advantage of that is Tommy, you know what the advantage of doing that, it’s it’s a lot clearer. You don’t get the

pixels around.

And then, does that mean that the software can adapt its characteristics to the specific lens and camera because they already have preset knowledge of those things are that’s fast and and that gets it into the into the computers in a way where you can you dealing with something that’s as close as possible to the original yeah

in the process of interacting with the printers. You said that you can use a sensor to calibrate your screen. Do what else can you do, are there other ways of doing it. What if you do manually in. You have to know what you’re doing quite well. You have to know what do you know no individual names

right so it’s like

that kind of stuff in the news. So what Tell me what you have to know the things like the things that you have to be able to do effectively to be able to calibrate your screen without a center

and actually not really research that

and then

you said you experimented a bed at home. How did that experimentation going on. So I just got a normal fell off my computer screen printed it off, put it off I computer screen saver look the same. Right. And it was a lot darker and that’s actually a calibration process, too. Isn’t it actually

is. So what did you do once they have more money into came with like a laptop so I could go into that and then change like problems and a lot of other things of the printer. Yeah. On the right, so what you were trying to do there is to adjust the settings of the printed to match the screen. Yeah, not the other way around. Right, contribute to it the other way around so you could import say a profile of the printer. As a color profile for your screen. Yeah. We could even scan

a photo from the printer. Probably screen right have the to sign here. Right.

Yeah, which which but then of course you’ve got the issue of how accurate the scanners. Yeah,

that’s interesting.

So you can also change help the scanner picks up the colors as well.

So with all of what you’ve learned from this what hasn’t made it has had an effect on your photography

school anymore, right. So, so I’ve got

the one at home. So I just use that. So, so now you’ve sort of got that appreciation of the importance of a calibration of the devices, you’re working properly calibrated

mature for the printer scope. I go on to labor or something and I like watching the picture, knowing that that’s gonna

never really get a perfect. How much

do you find that it makes any difference when you’re taking photographs, even though that’s a separate part of the process

So does that mean that you’ve learned something about the importance of the original yeah what is important about it like what are the things that matter when it takes

Well, if it’s too light on the camera

Is that right, rather than using libraries create those things because the cameras that captured like extremely vibrant colors tend to be quite expensive. So

you need a few us like when you can pretty much make it look like an expensive camera photo. But again,

it’s not as if you compare an exclusive with the chicken photo. You can see the details difference like crazy. Right.
